Magic look for three in a row tonight vs ATL
The Magic (26-43, 19-14 home) play host to ATL (21-46, 7-26 road) this evening. The Magic have a nice little run going of 6 wins in their last 9 games, and will be trying to win 3 in a row for the first time in 2 months. ATL is coming off a 15 pt loss to DAL Saturday night, and has lost 3 in a row and 7 of their last 8. Of course, their only win in that span came against the Magic last Sunday.
Hopefully, the Magic coaching staff payed close attention to the film of last week's loss to the Hawks, so that they will be able to make the proper adjustments that they couldn't make during last Sunday's loss. Joe Johnson, who went off for 40 pts last week against the Magic, must be kept under control. He has scored just 46 pts during their 3 game losing streak, so he will be really anxious to break out. Former Magic C ZaZa Pachulia went wild on the boards last week with 18 rebs against the Magic, including a bunch of offensive boards. He must be kept under control also by the Magic bigs.
A good sign for the Magic: they have won 10 of their last 11 home games against the Hawks. I expect the proper adjustments to be made by BHill tonight, as the Magic should win easily to make up for the two previous heartbreaking losses to ATL in the final seconds. The oddsmakers agree, and have made the Magic 7 pt favorites against the Hawks (www.pinnaclesports.com).

Well tonight will be a test for BSH,the hawks dont start a traditional line-up,they start two small forwards at the forwards positions,so who will guard josh smith is the question? Who will guard al harrington? Dwight or tony is gonna have to guard one of those guys, which is a bad match-up for us,the magic must throw the ball inside to the big three (Dwight,Darko & battie) all night long and take advantage of the hawks lack of size, playing inside out will give our guards open shots all night,i expect those shots to fall if we play inside out, pick and roll, post ups and keep running of turnovers just like in philly and we'll get the win,no need to slow it down when you have the advantage! Also,i have a feeling dwight is gonna make pachulia feel his wrath tonight,we might get some sportcenter dunk highlights that i'm coming to expect from dwight!
