Steve-O to make first visit to TDW in Knicks uniform

It's been one month since the Magic unloaded Steve Francis and his high salary to the Knicks. In 13 games with the Knicks, The former Franchise is averaging 12.4 ppg on 50% shooting, 3.3 assists and 3.1 rebounds in a little over 27 minutes a game. All those numbers are down from his 16.2 ppg and 5.7 assists he put up with the Magic. He had been coming off the bench, but Larry Brown has been starting him in place of the injured Quentin Richardson.

NY brings a 19-47 record, 6-26 away to TDW. The Magic are now 24-43, but with a respectable 18-14 home record. NY averages 96.5 ppg, while giving up 102.4 ppg. Stephon Marbury (16.8 ppg), Jalen Rose (14.7 ppg) Eddy Curry (13.7 ppg) and Jamal Crawford (13.1 ppg) lead the Knicks. NY has gotten very good performances off their bench lately, so the Magic will need their bench to step up better than they did against CHA.

A quote from Brian Hill after last night's loss to CHA: "I'm embarrassed by our performance. I hope our players are because they should be. The way we played proved we didn't respect the game or the team. We just went through the motions." Magic are 5 1/2 pt favorites over the Knicks (www.pinnaclesports.com).

Chalk this up as another loss. Look for the player formerly known as Stevo Franchise to pull one of those career games out of his ass, or even one of the Knicks' bench scrubs to put up career numbers tonight.. Francis will be on a mission tonight tonight to embarass the team that traded him. To bad he never did that to Houston while he was with the Magic.

Nah,i disagree, the magic have been good "at home" since trading steve and getting jameer back, the magic play well against teams that start a traditional line-up so New York should get whupped, but if for some reason LBrown goes with a small line-up and tries to run, look for coach hill to be out-coached as usuall,ECurry makes it hard for them to be a running team though,B/c he doesnt shoot it like AHarrington,Brezec or voskul,or doesnt get up and down the floor that great,so the magic should win,i'm most excited about a change in the line-up that could possibly happen tonight, according to the sentinel BHill claimes he's gonna shake thing up b/c players didnt seem motivated to start the game against charlotte, maybe deshawn or tony will hit the bench, hopefully its both,i'd take keyon & darko the way keyon's played lately in transition and at least attempting some three's,unlike deshawn, and the way darko makes us better with his shot blocking,he had three last night in 12 minutes, which is more than tony gets in a whole game!
