Doc Rivers and Celtics come to TDW tonight
Former Magic coach Doc Rivers returns to TDW with the Celtics owning a 27-38 record, and only 8-24 on the road; they are 4 1/2 games behind the final playoff spot. BOS is coming off a tough 107-104 loss to the Heat Thursday night, as the Celtics somehow blew a 25 pt lead. Paul Pierce had 34 pts, and Wally Szczerbiak 30. The Magic have won 3 of their last 4 games and are 23-41, and 17-14 at home.
Pierce (27.3 ppg) and Szcerbiak (17.1 ppg) lead the way, with Delonte West (11.7 ppg) also contributing. BOS averages 98.3 ppg, while allowing 100 ppg. The Magic average 93.5 ppg, while allowing 96.4 ppg,
BOS has not done well in Orlando, winning only 6 of their last 26 games here. Also, the Magic are 15-8 when they score a least a hundred pts, so hopefully BHill will let the guys fast break and run more. If the Magic continue to shoot the ball well, shoot FTs well and cut down on the TOs, I'm looking for a Magic win tonight, as they continue to play spoiler. RUN,RUN,RUN,thats the only way to utilize your depth while making the game easy for your scorers,dwight and tony have to be just a big as they were against utah offensively and defensively,at this point BHill might not be doing alot to help us win,but he doesnt coach us to lose,so if the players play hard,make freethrows and dont turn over the ball,we should win,the guys can control some of the things that they do!
