Good job by the Magic playing spoiler against a team fighting to make the playoffs. Another huge game for our point guards, who combined for 35 pts and 12 assists, in addition to Dwight's big game. The Magic have shown how promising the future could look with the way they have played in their last few games.

Good win for the Magic. Still Darko is not getting enough minutes ... 19 minutes only. Good rotation between the 3 bigs, but Darko should get more than Tony close enough to Dwight's. Hedo was off and got only 16 minutes as compared with Ariza's 26 minutes who played real well. We need to keep the management and coach's incompetence an open issue, since that is the only impediment to the team's success.

Boy,when dwight, tony and darko play like that defensively,we're tough to beat, the guards didnt protect the ball at all,but at least our big's showed up,good call on korver matt,he was the only thing to keep them in it,steven hunter sucks and webber might as well retire, dwight and tony easily out-played them, and kept them off the offensive boards, while battie and darko used their speed to beat webber down the floor a few times, all around good win!

The second unit of carlos, keyon, ariza & darko, with either dwight or battie with them on the floor,is looking real nice!

Agreed, our second unit is beginning to look alot like our first unit, almost interchangable. These guys just really seem to enjoy playing together. Even if they loose, they still look like a well adjusted group. I give all the credit to this group of young talented players, that short, pudgey, mentally challeneged guy on the sideline is only there because ownership felt they owed him something. And like matt said, is really what is holding this team from progressing even more.

This Magic team is kind of interesting to think about. The Magic team and players, are obviously happy with each other, and get along. When looking back, Francis was the biggest thing holding this team back this year. Of course we had injuries, and of course we have B Hill, but Francis was a major problem. It's nice and refreshing to see a group of guys on the court that get along and look like they enjoy playing together. It kind of reminds me of the "heart & hustle" team, but with alot brighter future. Things should get even more interesting when these guys start developing more. Just now are we starting to see a version of Dwight Howard that isn't always smiling, and shows signs of confidence and cockiness. That is what we need, and it'll come in time. Darko is another guy that has shown amazing growth in limited playing time. You can throw names like Nelon and Ariza in those kinds of categories also. Looking at our team now, we actually have a "playoff team", but it just didn't happen early enough. The injuries, Francis issue, and brutal late road schedule killed our season. I expect to make the playoffs next year regardless what happens, with G Hill, or without, with B Hill, or without. Speaking of B Hill, although I've never been a big fan, players are no complaining, YET... We'll see what happens when these guys continue to develop, that is when some might speak up in regards to needing a more legit coach. But as of now, I'm happy, because the future looks bright. Still no matter what, Brian Hill always makes me question. Like why is Darko still not playing the minutes he should? And if the answer is Battie, WHY? Then why is Ariza just now getting playing time when it's obvious the guy can play? Pat Garrity is always an obvious Brian Hill question, thank goodness he is injured. Alright, that's all for my random thought ramble.

If I see that commercial with BSH and that dipshit Todd with his face painted one more time, I'm gonna puke...

Introvert316, welcome back. I am glad that you had a good vacation. I, sincerely hope that you are right in your assessment of the Magic's future. However, I have seen too much of good things to go bad quickly. The fact is that BS Hill is not a players' coach, and his system is not fun to play in. Players are having fun now playing with each other but if the system is no fun and the management is inept, all it takes is a couple of injuries and losses piling up leading to rumbling amongst the players. When that happens one cannot rely on BS Hill or the management to remedy the situation.
Once again, I hope you are right and my pessemism is misplaced b/c I really want ot see Magic be a team that we all will be proud of.
