Even though this win came over a listless and clueless Bulls team, I am very encouraged by the Magic's performance, because they made a concerted effort to get the ball in to Howard down low, and Dwight was very quick and decisive in either shooting that nice little jump hook off the glass or else slamming the ball home. Lewis complemented Howard well with four 3 pt FGs, and the Magic were able to survive an off-night shooting from Turkoglu.

Arroyo also gave the team a big spark off the bench after not playing the past couple of games. I realize that the +/- stat can be a very misleading stat, but I don't think I've ever seen anyone have a +43 rating like Arroyo did against the Bulls. On the other hand, the Bulls' Thabo Sefolosha had a beyond awful -42 rating.

30 assists on 45 baskets shows the Magic were doing an excellent job executing the offense.

Also nice seeing the Magic outrebound the other team both offensively and defensively.

The only Magic starter to play more than 34 minutes was Lewis, who played almost 39 minutes, so Coach Van Gundy did a better job at giving the bench players more playing time, and they responded with an outstanding effort.

Win number 50 should come Friday against the T-Wolves!

Yeah it was good to see the magic take the game seriously after the lackluster start. Carlos played well, when he's hitting his jumper he does a great job(because he can pass to boot which we know),but alot like jameer when he's off the other parts of his game become average. Great to see rashard bounce back also, playing out of position has had to take its toll on him,but you wont see it on his face and i respect him the most out of all the players on this team for that, rashard seems to always be in control of his emotions and the situations around him,he's been worth every penny.
