Playoff positioning update
The positioning between the three teams fighting for the sixth seed and the right to face the Magic in the first round of the playoffs continues to be very tight. WED night, Gilbert Arenas' return failed to help WAS, as MIL stunned the Wizards at the buzzer 110-109; suddenly hot ATL beat TOR 127-120 in OT, and PHI had the day off. WAS, TOR, and PHI now have the same 38-37 record! The Hawks, who have won 8 of their last 10 games, now need to be mentioned as a slim possibility to finish as the sixth seed, as they are 35-40 and trail WAS, TOR, and ATL by just 3 games with seven remaining.
CLE, currently the fourth seed, is 42-33, 5 games behind the Magic for the third seed. The "Magic Number" for the Magic to clinch the third seed remains at 3.

No matter who the magic play it'll be an interesting first round. I actually think if the magic can beat their first round opponent, they can shock their second round opponent (probably detroit). To me the match-ups during the reg season that hurts us were wash and tor, caron butler owns hedo, and toronto's point guards own our whole point guard platoon. Against philly or atl the magic should win pretty easily.
