Magic to try to slow Garnett tonight at MIN

The Magic, at 3-3, travel to MIN, 2-3, tonight and try for their first road win in 3 games. The T-Wolves are coming off a 95-88 loss to the Lakers in LA, and have lost 3 games in a row after a 2-0 start.

MIN is led, of course, by Kevin Garnett, averaging 22.4 ppg and 11.2 rebs. Newly signed G Mike James is averaging 15.2 ppg, and Ricky Davis is averaging 11.2 ppg. Former Magic G Troy Hudson is averaging 6 pts off the bench. Garnett has 14 consecutive double-doubles against the Magic. The Magic may sit out Grant Hill as a precaution, even though last week Otis Smith and Brian Hill said there are no plans to sit him out in the second of back-to-back games this early in the season.

BHIll will have to use the reserves much more than he did against IND. Keith Bogans and Keyon Dooling will have to come through if Grant sits out.. MIN hasn't played since Tuesday and will be rested and ready. T-Wolves are 4 1/2 pt favorites (www.pinnaclesports.com).
