Game night preview

ORLANDO MAGIC vs. ATLANTA HAWKS
Saturday, Jan. 30. 7:00 p.m.
Amway Arena
Orlando, FL

In a highly-anticipated Southeast Division battle, the Orlando Magic (30-16, 17-4 home) host the Atlanta Hawks (30-15, 11-10 road) on Saturday at 7 p.m. ET. Already 2-0 against the Hawks in 2009-10, the Magic look to sustain their dominance over their familiar foes. In the two meetings this season, Orlando won by an average margin of 24.5 points. Dwight Howard racked up 22 points and 17 rebounds in the Magic’s victory on Thanksgiving night at Philips Arena, while a balanced effort guided Orlando past Atlanta at Amway Arena on Jan. 9. Preventing Joe Johnson and Jamal Crawford from having big nights is key for Orlando. The two Atlanta guards were a combined 19-for-57 from the field in their two losses against the Magic. If they win on Saturday and finish with the same record as the Hawks at season’s end, the Magic will secure the tiebreaker against Atlanta. Not only would it determine the division winner, but even more important, it would give Orlando home-court advantage over Atlanta should the two teams meet in the playoffs.

Here is the complete preview from Yahoo! Sports.

The Magic are 5 point favorites.

Just keep feeding D12! Hawks have no-one who can stop him.

The Magic have played Atlanta well ever since they lost the home opener to them last season; hopefully the trend continues tonight and the Magic keep the momentum going after their come-from-behind victory over Boston.
