Bright House Needs to be Pushed

With two days left to the start of the season, the status of Magic games on Bright House cable is still in limbo. I think Magic organization's decision to sell the portion of the games that they were covering to a cable network was an indication of greed. That, however, does not warrant Bright House's greedy approach in milking Orlando market while they are offering FSN free of any extra charge in other markets. We have to make Bright House aware that their greed could not pass unnoticed. I cancelled not only my cable TV but also Internet connections in multiple locations and made sure that they are aware of the reason behind these moves.

I understand the reasoning for what you did, Matt, but hope you have another way of catching the Magic games.

Living in the Chicago area, and not having NBA Direct Pass, I have to be happy to follow the Magic games on the internet and the few times they are on national TV.

I changed over to satellite a few months back and they have been treating me well. The prices are lower, the quality is better, and I'm getting more for my money.

Unfortunately, I still have Brighthouse for Road Runner. I canned my digital phone with BH, but I still have RR. I would like to drop them, but what am I going to get, DSL; which is far slower?

For Orlando's sake, I really hope the Brighthouse, FSN, and all the parties involved work out something!

On a positive, most of the games on Sun Sports are being broadcasted in HD.

Hopefully it'll be the same for FSN.

Well, it finally came out. FSN wants to charge Bright House 2 million dollars per month, year round. That's 3 dollars for every Bright House customer whether they want it or not. That's Fox greed, not Bright House. Magic greed, too. That's 10 times what they charge for Sun Sports per customer and that's ridiculous.

Bright House doesn't black out anything. NBA cut the feed to that game. Bright House can't and wouldn't black out anything.
