Kasun Gone
El Mundo Deportivo is reporting Mario Kasun will sign a 3 year contract with FC Barcelona in Spain. Mario was tall and had tatoos and reportedly dated a porn starlet. Other than that he pretty much sucked with the Magic.
He appeared in 73 games for the Magic including 28 last year. Career numbers are 2.7 points, 2.6 rebounds and .22 blocks and 2.5 fouls per game in 7.8 minutes.
It is now up to Otis to replace the 80 points and 60 rebounds he contributed last year.

2.6 rebs in 7.8 minutes translates to a hefty 16 rebs per game. Of course, Kasun got in foul trouble so often he was rarely on the court long enough to make an impact. There was really no good reason to keep Kasun, as he was buried on the depth chart the last few months after Darko was acquired.

Frankenstein is cool; Mario Kasun is not. Talk about a total stiff... He will NOT be missed.

Guys, sorry to interrupt you, but Mario Kasun was the best player of Croatian national team on last year's European championships. Team included guards Planinic(Nets), Giricek(Jazz) and Euroleague MVP Nikola Vujcic.
He had some awsome performances, impressed all disbelievers here in Croatia, but in the end, unfortunately, he got injured in decesive game vs. Spain.
If he were healthy this season for Magic, I believe Magic would make the playoffs.
Good luck next season!!
