Magic go down at CLE for 7th loss in a row

The Cavs played a very efficient game tonight, as 3 of their players scored over 20 pts, and cruised to a 105-92 win over the Magic, who lost for the 11th time in their last 12 games.

The Magic did a relatively good job on LeBron, holding him to 26 pts, 5 under his average. But Z. Ilgauskus (24 pts) and Sasha Pavlovic (21 pts) hurt the Magic . Yes, the same Sasha Pavlovic who was averaging 5.6 pts a game before tonight. DGooden had a solid game against his old team (16 pts 11 rebs). CLE outscored the Magic 86-73 from the field on 51.9% shooting. ORL shot 50%. Both teams made 19 FTs, as the Magic shot 76% from the line. CLE outrebounded ORL 38-34, and also had a fantastic assist-to-turnover ratio of 25-7. The Magic had 22 assists to 12 TOs. ORL had 5 players in double figures, led by DHoward (23 pts 14 rebs). The bench, led by Dooling (12 pts) and Garrity (11 pts) outscored CLE's bench 31-12. Francis had 13 pts in just 25 min. of action.

GHill struggled, scoring only 4 pts in 14 min. of action. Darko made his long-awaited Magic debut, and scored 2 pts in just 3 first-half minutes. Arroyo did not score in 5 minutes. The Magic's defense let them down tonight, as evidenced by CLE's solid shooting, and the fact CLE only had 7 TOs. They didn't have an answer for Ilgauskus, as he was a force offensively and grabbed 13 boards too. Yet another fringe player (Pavlovic) has a breakout scoring night against us. Not the way the Magic wanted to start the second half, and are now 6 games behind PHI for the 8th spot.

Garrity 25 minutes, Milicic 4 minutes. Arroyo played 5 minutes and quite well.

What a great coach we have. He has them playing so consistently.

I was screaming at the TV when Garrity and then Kasun were playing Darkos minutes. And while watching Francis and Dooling dribble around for 15 seconds before forcing shots. Even Hill got into it by forcing shots rather than passing. It was ugly.

Finally Darko gets in and looks like a talent, even if he's lost. That reverse layup was shot from well on the other side of the basket. And he provided a much better defensive presence than Garrity & Kasun.

Arroyo could have had 4 assists in his short time but two were fumbled away. DH was grinning from ear to ear over the way Arroyo was feeding him. I doubt he's ever played with a PG who is dedicated to the pick n roll. It could create an extra 8 points a game for Howard.

We're not gonna win until something's done with steve,he's taking up a crucial spot for the teams success, point guard is not a position that can take nights off,and thats what steve's admitted to doing, remember"my game wont change untill i'm traded or not",he hasnt been traded yet,so how do we expect to play steve and win at the same time,in my opinion it's a contradiction, steve should be shut down untill moved or not,but NO this management is so stupid, that they dont even see the cancer, keyon when he came in for steve,at least got some assists getting dwight the ball, and so did arroyo in his breif stint, but not steve,he's pretty close to doing nothing for us while getting starters minutes,Friday's game with seattle, will be the first time in a while that we'll actually have a chance at winning,b/c steve's situation will finally be over, will he be here or not? After thursday,no more excuses from anyone, coaches, players or management!
