Whit is forgeting one thing,we dont have a true two guard, deshawn has more of a small forward's game, lamar plays one of our deepest position's,so that makes him less attractive to the magic, they would do the deal with new york,to finally get a guy who can come in and start at the two, probably not from the begining, but in the near future, deshawn and jamal crawford would give us two young shooting guards that compliment each other, and i dont want to hear the no salary cap relief excuse,b/c i dont care if the magic are over the salary cap and have to pay luxury taxes or whatever else, thats what they deserve for putting such bad poeple in charge from day one,as long as we win games,i dont care if our payroll is high!

I think I'd be happy with Odom because I think if they had the cap space Odom is the type of talent you wouldn't mind signing.

    C - DH, Battie
    PF - Darko, Battie, Odom
    SF - Odom, Turk, Hill
    SG - Stevenson, Diener(?)
    PG - Arroyo/Nelson or Nelson/Arroyo, Dooling

The front could be great with loads of rebounds, blocked shots, assists, and even 3 pointers. SG is a clear weak spot that would have to be addressed in the draft.

Just think, everyone was burnt out during the losing streak. And the Cato trade has really made it interesting times.

I agree that Odom's trade, especially if comes with another good player from LAL is an intriguing scenario. Whit also says no to Nene and Watson's deal from DEN.

What I know of Odom, he seems to be the type of player that could contribute quite well to our team, i think he could fit in very well. I've heard Mihm mentioned as well, I only seen him play a couple of times but dosn't look to bad either if i recall. But a definite Yes to Odom
