Magic make it 2 in a row

The Magic finally break an 8 game road losing streak, beating the injury-riddled Bobcats 104-93. Another good team effort by the Magic, with 5 players in double figures. Great job by the bench, with Turkoglu, Diener, and Garrity combining for 45 pts and 13 rebs on 7 of 12 3 pt shooting and 12 of 14 FTs. Garrity has had 2 decent games in a row... a rarity for him this season. Another decent, all-around game by Francis in his first start after the suspension. Even though Nelson had a sub-par game scoring wise, he did have 6 assists and only 2 TOs. Howard dominated like he should have against the small Charlotte line-up... 19 pts and 21 rebs. The Magic also had 24 assists, which indicates continued good ball movement. The 15 TOs didn't really pose a problem, as the Magic played well in just about every other area. Can the Magic make it 3 in a row Saturday night against Sacramento? What starting lineup will Coach Hill use? Stay tuned!

Nice post. Short but complete and concise.

I love watching these kinds of games. We don't get many like this, where you can just kick back and enjoy the action. This is so much better than those nail-biters that come down to the final seconds. Or being on the loosing end of a 25 point blowout.

Great all around game by everyone and nice ball movement. Slowly, but surely, TDiener is earning himself more playing time. With Diener, Turkoglu, JNelson, and occasionally Garrity, all able to shoot the 3 fairly well, just makes this team that much more dangerous in the 4th quarter. And last, but not least, Dwight Howard has a new carrer high with 21 rebounds. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come....

I think we've found a line-up,Steve when he decides to play a floor game, replaces what grant usually does for us,by rebounding, passing, pushing the ball and taking smart shots,b/c of the fact that not every team we'll play has a post up two guard,we can play steve at the two on most nights, while deshawn plays a much better defensive game than hedo at the three! Hedo when coming off the bench,he doesnt have to focus on guarding the other teams best perimeter player,he can just come in the game and start jackin it up,so can trav and pat, those three off the bench can be real good together! Tonight i dont know if we'll be able to with stand the fact that we're down to Dwight & tony as our only healthy true big men!

With SAC, we need to defend Bibi the same way that we defended Arenas, interchangabley. It would be Steve's job mainly, but Deshawn and Jameer may take that role as deemed suitable. We have to control Brad Miller, as well. As I understand, Kasun is not injured. Why shouldn't we use him?

If mario isnt injured, then what the heck is coach hill doing,we could have used him last night,at one point we went with pat and turk as our big forwards, and if it had been a team that wasnt as hurt up as we are,we'd have been in trouble! Deshawn has had the best success in guarding the opposing point guard,he did a great job against marbury & arenas, with help from jameer and steve,we need to let deshawn fluster bibby,i'm guessing we'll see him take a crack at it tonight! None of the perimeter guys from sac like to post up alot,so we shouldnt have a problem with size tonight!

My guess is that coach Hill felt he can go small with Garrity and Hedo since CHA's frontline was not big. He would be sorely mistaken if he gambles again tonight.
