Magic host struggling Pistons tonight

Detroit (27-29), losers of eight games in a row, will try to avoid their first nine-game losing streak since a 13 game losing streak at the end of the 1993-'94 season as they play the Magic (42-15) Friday night in Orlando in a nationally televised affair on ESPN. The Pistons are coming off a 90-87 loss at New Orleans Wednesday.

Allen Iverson's availability is in question, as he played only eight minutes against the Hornets before having to leave the game because of a sprained back.

The Pistons are 4-12 since having Richard "Rip" Hamilton coming off the bench and Rodney Stuckey starting at shooting guard.

The Pistons have won 7 of their last 9 regular season games against the Magic, including 1-0 this season, and have dominated the Magic in the playoffs the last two years.

No line out for the game yet, due to the uncertainty of Iverson's status.

The Pistons are a team in turmoil right now; there will be absolutely no excuse for the Magic not to win this game handily, Iverson or no Iverson.

    GO MAGIC!

Unfortunately, we are not getting the detroit pistons that i would of like to have. Like I mentioned yesterday, the pistons have lost 8 straight, rwallace is suspended and iverson is likely not play.

Rasheed Wallace is not suspended and will be available tonight.

The league rescinded two of his previous technical fouls this season, so he still has 14 technicals, not the 16 that would require a one-game suspension.

I agree, this is a game we SHOULD win. But the Pistons have lost 8 in a row and if there is any pride at all on that team, don't want to make it 9. Especially against the Magic. These are precisely the kind of games I worry about.

I also thought Wallace was suspended for tonights game. I didn't hear about the league recinding two of his technicals..
