All-Star Voting

In case you missed it there is a widget to vote for NBA all-stars in the right hand column.

Vote every day, vote often.

You can just vote for the Magic 4 if that's all you want to do.

Howard MUST start over fat Shaq.

    Magic/Suns preview

The Magic (14-3, 9-1 road) will try to avenge their big loss to the Suns in ORL a few weeks ago as they take on PHO (11-4, 5-2 home). PHO is coming off a 100-94 home loss WED night to HOU, their second loss in a row. Steve Nash led PHO with 29 pts,

    The probable PHO starting lineup:

    G... Steve Nash (19.9 ppg, 10.7 asts)
    G... Raja Bell (9.9 ppg)
    F... Grant Hill (14.8 ppg)
    F... Shawn Marion (16.9 ppg, 11.5 rebs)
    C... Amare Stoudemire (18.6 ppg, 8.2 rebs)

Top reserves: Leandro Barbosa (17.7 ppg); Boris Diaw (8.0 ppg, 5.1 rebs); Brian Skinner (3.6 ppg); Marcus Banks (4 ppg)

PHO is averaging 107.9 ppg, while allowing 102.4 ppg. ORL is averaging 103.3 ppg, while allowing 95.7 ppg.

Magic have lost to the Suns four straight games, and are 5 1/2 pt underdogs to PHO tonight (www.pinnaclesports.com).

There's no doubt that the Magic will play the Suns much tougher than they did in ORL. If they can somewhat control the Suns' vaunted running game, hit from the outside to complement Dwight's inside game, and prevent Barbosa from scoring 39 pts like he did the last time he played the Magic, the Magic have a good chance of winning the game.

The Suns will not be in a good mood, as they have lost two games in a row and will be anxious to snap that streak tonight in front of their home crowd; but I feel optimistic about the Magic pulling a close one out... I'll say Magic by 3.
