Excellent column detailing all the options the Magic have in regard to Grant.
I believe a 100% healthy Grant Hill would be valuable to the Magic next season as "6th man" coming off the bench, able to play two different positions. Also, he is a much respected and admired veteran, who could further help the young players with various aspects of the game.
Otis and the front office will have to carefully weigh any possible trade involving Grant, if any trade could bring in an established star that might be able to make the Magic a legit threat to win the Eastern Conference.
Could a 100% healthy Grant Hill make the Magic that legit threat? He would make the Magic a better team, no question in my mind. We also have to see what moves the Magic will make this off-season and how the draft works out.

I believe the best option is keep him this summer, with an open mind to what may break in February.
Even if he announces his intention to medically retire this summer his contract is still tradeable in February.
