Should be a great game, as I'm sure Boston will get a big lift from their home crowd, just like the Magic did in Game 5.

If Jameer Nelson and Dwight Howard can continue to play as well as they have in Games 4 and 5, the Magic should be in good position to win the game.

The celtics are gonna try and run tonight and get their tempo going through rondo who has had two straight sub-par games. The magic have to make him a shooter and keep him out of the lane, offensive execution will be huge for the magic as well because turnovers just feed into what the celtics wanna do/do best. Protect the ball, rebound & run, energy in transition and moving the ball side-to-side are the main things that weve done well in the last two games. Lets keep it going!

I agree that the refs handed game 5 to the magic, but this nonsense of the magic coming back to win this series is what concerns me.

I realize that you want to win this series mike from illinois...but no team has ever done this, and considering the talent level on the magic i wouldnt expect game 6 to even be close.

Well, this is the time to put up or shut up. The old team in BOS with their bigs banged up or out (no talk of Wallace's back), Rondo having leg spasm, Ray Allen being inefficient, the only place they can get some offensive output is with Pierce. I expect Magic to pull away in the third quarter winning it rather comfortably.

Thugs invite other thugs to flatten Dwight claiming he started the "physical game" and is intentionally hurting people. It was obvious that BOS stated their pride in their physical defense, and how their bigs were handling Dwight. This mentality of encouraging violence works two-ways. My caution to BOS's players who may want to intentionally hit Dwight is this: Be careful when you hit him; you may hurt yourself!

    What a bunch of losers!!!

Piss off if you are Bostonian
    Perkins should be Amway’s custodian
    The Magic are alive
    They will win Game 5
The C’s are so old, we should call Smithsonian.

All the pressure is on Boston tonight; they were supposed to have swept the Magic in four games after their dominant Game 3 win, but instead, the Magic are halfway to history!

Boston fans are still thinking about the Bruins blowing a 3 games to none lead to the Flyers in the NHL Playoffs a few weeks ago, and now the Celtics are in danger themselves of doing the same thing.

The Magic will be in the same dressing room as the Flyers were when they shocked Boston in Game 7 to complete a historical comeback, only the third time in NHL history a team has come back from down 3 games to none.

Of course, it's never been done in basketball before, but it's going to happen sometime, and the Magic find themselves in good position to be that team.

One game at a time; Magic gotta win Game 6 tonight!

I read that statistically there is a 14.5% chance that some team may accomplish that objective. I assume that this is a flat calculation of probabilities not based on current variables on where the two teams are. Obviously they are leading in totally opposite directions, personnel-wise and momentum-wise. Let's do it guys! GO MAGIC!!!!!!!!!!

As a celtics fan who watched game 5 I was VERY upset.

I like defence and physical basketball but this is not wrestling. Howard is a good player and the Magic are tough to beat with him on inside and 3-point shooters hitting. So I am not sure it was Boston's night in game 5 regardless.

All that being said, Perkins 2 techs and the other against Rondo were crazy. Refs should control the games not make themselves the focus. You are supposed to do something really bad to be kicked out. Perkins complains too much, but in no way was what the refs did normal for both techs.

But what really bothered me was the wrestling aspect. Howard is big and strong. But he is swinging his elbows as weapons and not getting called for it. I do not think he tried to KO Baby but he did the game earlier against Garnett and also on Pierce in game 5. On Pierce he drove his elbow down into his shoulder all the way down. That was plain dirty looking. Yes Howard gets hacked because he cannot shoot free-throws. But I have not seen Celtics players do similar to him yet. I'm surprised the NBA refs make Perkins a target for his yapping but ignore this.

Here is to hoping for clean basketball and may the team with the best performance. That is the way it should be. Now we have the shame that even if the Magic pull off a remarkable comeback things may be tainted for them.

Yea matt i believe the magic will win as well, but it starts with defense and offensive execution. More particular, the last two games have seen very few dwight howard post-ups. This is causing the celtics players across the board to have to play defense, they arent going to double dwight so why go to him as our first option. If they are gonna stay at home on guys then pick-and-roll them to death, bigs need to set good screens and the guards need to take what the defense gives them. When dwight is the first option they just foul and say beat us from the line which doesnt get anyone else involved for us,but when jameer is handling the ball and running the roll now everybody on the offense has the opportunity to score promoting team basketball. Its going to be very tough for jameer tonight as im sure boston will try and take the ball away from him, trap him,be more physical and etc.,the guy who is due is VC his back-court mate. VC has to be a part of the offense and become a weapon tonight,he's the one guy who nobody on the celtics can guard and for the last three games he's been M.I.A.
