Game night preview

ORLANDO MAGIC vs. WASHINGTON WIZARDS
Wednesday, April 7. 7:00 p.m.
Amway Arena
Orlando, FL

The Orlando Magic and Washington Wizards are in two completely different places at this stage of the regular season. If you have any doubts, just look at the standings. Orlando owns a 30.5-game lead over Washington. But the Wizards do have one advantage over the Magic; they currently lead the season series, 2-1. Orlando will look to even that score at home Wednesday at 7 p.m. ET when the two squads meet for the final time this season. While Washington’s offensive options are now limited after trading away Antawn Jamison, Caron Butler, Brendan Haywood and DeShawn Stevenson all before the deadline, they still do have one premier scoring option left on their active roster. Forward Andray Blatche has flourished since the aforementioned players were sent out of town, averaging 20.5 points and 6.7 rebounds in March.

The Magic officially clinched the SE division and the number two seed in the East with Atlanta's loss to Charlotte Tuesday night.

The Magic trail the LA Lakers only by 1 game for the second best record in the NBA.
