Nice article on Otis; despite some questionable decisions throughout his tenure, bottom line is he built the Magic into a championship contender last season, this season, and for at least a few more seasons beyond that with his bold moves.

I agree Mike.. It's nice to see Otis get some recognition.. We've all questioned him at one time or another, but over all he's done a terrific job putting together a championship contending team..

What annoys me is the media still questioning his decision to let Turkglue go in favor of VC,by refering to Vince as a big question mark. I don't think they will ever let Otis live that down if the Magic don't win a title with VC..

Even though I was a big fan of Turk, it would have been a huge mistake to sign him to a long-term contract... look how much he struggled with Toronto this past season.

I really like how Carter has played since that disastrous month of January. The team chemistry is so much better since then, as VC has looked a lot more comfortable in the offense, and isn't forcing things.

I'm not worried about his performance in Game 1; I'm sure he'll play much better the rest of the series.
