Battle for second seed tonight in Orlando versus Boston

The Magic (52-18) will officially clinch the SE division title with a win over Boston (54-18) Wednesday night, and more importantly, tie the Celtics for the second seed in the East in a nationally televised game at 8:00 on ESPN.

Kevin Garnett figures to play limited minutes tonight as he continues to recover from his knee injury.

The Magic are 3 1/2 point favorites.

Defensively for us. The celts do a great job of running pick and pop with the guy dwight guards (usually big baby)knowing dwight wants to protect the paint, the magic will have to hope he doesnt shoot it well tonight because we have no answer for this play. Hedo like always against the celts will be in the spot light having to defend peirce,as long as he can keep up with paul in the scoring column i'll give him the benefit of the doubt knowing he's our weakest defender. Maybe CL and MP can give him some help and hedo can run with ray allen. For us offensively RA will be the key. He makes us go by pushing the ball at will,he'll need to do that tonight. We need to rebound and run all night so that we can sit back and play defense. If the celts get us into a slow possession game with scores in the 80's,we're in trouble because we dont win those against them or detroit.

The last time the Celtics played the Magic in Orlando, it was not good for the Magic. Jameer Nelson had maybe his worst game of the year offensively; Glen Davis scored like 16 points for Boston; Pierce had his way with Turk in their matchup; and the Magic offense was awful in the loss.

Hopefully it will be a different story tonight; like big Figure said, Rafer Alston will be very important for the Magic. If it's a low-scoring game, most likely Boston wins as Big Figure said.

Doc Rivers acts like this game is no big deal. Ya Right!! We'll see...

I agree with both Mike and Big. Also hope Dwight can stay out of foul trouble, though Gortat has been doing a good job of filling in, D12 needs to be on the floor.

Last thing... I think Courtney Lee is the best kept secret in the NBA.
