Jameer Nelson proving all his critics wrong this season
A few days ago, Third Quarter Collapse put up an excellent blog post about how the people who continue to criticize Magic point guard Jameer Nelson are way off base, and how Nelson's current statistics bear out that he indeed is a quality point guard. That post was written before the Magic's current road trip, where Nelson continues to put up quality numbers, such as the 21 points on 8 of 16 shooting and 6/1 assist/turnover ratio he put up against Portland.

Great for Nelson and the Magic that he is having a breakthrough season; he should be the Magic's point guard for years to come!
About the only thing he needs to do, as the post pointed out, is prove he can remain healthy for a full season.
