Magic/Bucks preview

The Magic (16-6, 11-2 road will try to snap their first losing streak of the season tonight against slumping MIL (8-12, 6-2 home). MIL is coming off a 93-90 loss at SAC, their 4th loss in a row. After starting the season 7-4, the Bucks have lost 8 of their last 9.

The probable starting lineup for MIL:

G... Maurice Williams (14.5 ppg, 7.1 asts)
G... Michael Redd (24.0 ppg, 5.3 rebs)
F... Desmond Mason (8.1 ppg)
F... Yi Jianlian (9.3 ppg, 5.4 rebs)
C... Andrew Bogut (12.9 ppg, 8.6 rebs)

Top reserves: Charlie Villanueva (9.5 ppg, 5.2 rebs); Bobby Simmons (7.2 ppg); Charlie Bell (4.2 ppg); Royal Ivey (3.6 ppg)

MIl is averaging 95.6 ppg, while allowing 100.5 ppg. ORL is averaging 103.9 ppg, while allowing 98.4.

Injury update: Rashard Lewis may miss the game because of muscle spasms in his neck that prevented him from practicing this morning. According to Lewis, it's been bothering him for a few days and seems to be getting worse, and it will be a game-time decision. If Lewis can't start, James Augustine will make his first start of the season with the Magic.

The Magic have beaten MIL 3 games in a row and 5 of the last 6 games, and are 5 pt favorites over the Bucks (www.pinnnaclesports.com).

    If there's any team the Magic should be glad to see, it's the Bucks. The Magic have done well against them the last few seasons (winning 5 of their last 6), and usually score over 110 pts with their offense looking really good against them. MIL is also slumping badly after the 7-4 start.

    I look for the Magic to get a lot of things fixed tonight to get back on track, and hopefully Coach Van Gundy's bench rotation will be better than the past few games.

    I'll say... Magic by 12.

    Really the first must win for my Magic, considering that next game is friday night in charlotte on national television. Milwaukee is a strugling team but a team that has the manpower to put a lot of points on the board with the likes of redd, yi and mason. If the 118 miliion dollar man(Lewis) don't play for the Magic, i think we will have matchup problems due to the buck's height with yi and villanueva and mason's above the rim game!!!! Van Gundy's first test when it comes to bringing the team together after two very, very ugly HOME losses,so definetly keep an eye on the attitude of the players tonight as they com off those tough losses. Washington and Atlanta are playing very good basketball as of late and we definetely need the next two road wins to get back on track to the Southeast Division title!!!!

    Plain and simple i expect the magic to win for two reasons. (1)The bucks are bad. (2) We match up really well against them. Truth is im not sure if any problems are going to be/will be fixed tonight,i have a sneaky suspicion that the rotations will stay the same and SVG is gonna ask his players to just play better. The two things i'll be watching closely is (1)Whether or not jameer has a role in the offense? (2) The rotations. I would like to see carlos not play for a change since its so easy to bench JJ or keyon,what did carlos do to get such respect? Magic win,but only because the bucks are bad.

    I would also like to see the Magic cut down on their turnovers and take better care of the ball. These last two games they lost, the opponent had a superior AST/TO ratio.
