Magic/Suns preview

The Magic (22-15, 8-9 road, 2nd East), a night after a close loss to LAL, face a formidable challenge SAT night against the NBA's hottest team, PHO (27-8, 16-3 home, 2nd West). The Suns have won 8 in a row, 26 of their last 29, and 15 of their last 16 at home. PHO is coming off a 109-90 romp over CLE, with Steve Nash leading the way with 21 asts.

Nash is having another MVP-type year, averaging 19.6 ppg, 11.3 asts; F Shawn Marion 19.4 ppg, 9.5 rebs; F/C Amare Stoudemire 17.6 ppg, 9.1 rebs; G Leandro Barbosa 16.5 ppg; G Raja Bell 14.8 ppg; and F Boris Diaw 9.9 ppg. PHO averages a league-leading 110.8 ppg on 49.4% shooting while allowing 102.4 ppg. ORL averages 93.8 ppg, while allowing 91.8 ppg, good for third best in the league.

PHO beat the Magic 103-89 last month in ORL, a game where Nash had 18 pts, 15 asts; and DHoward scored just 4 pts with 3 rebs. The Suns are whopping 10 1/2 pt favorites over the Magic (www.pinnaclesports.com).

All I expect from this game is to see Dwight match up a lot better with Amare than he did in Orlando, and Jameer & Hedo to find their shooting touch. We, usually play decent against PHO, win or lose, and I hope that we are not blown out of the building.

If the magic can stay aggressive going to the basket and make more free-throws,they actually have a chance. The one thing about the suns is they dont play any defense, they scrapp their way into turnovers by your own mistake's.
